Hi there and welcome to my journal!
I'm not too active here (or anywhere) to be honest but I'm hoping to change that this year. I discovered the wonderful world of fanfiction when one of my classmates in my freshman year of high school found out I loved Inuyasha and she shared a link to her favorite fanfic....and I was lost. It was Sueric's "Chronicles" if you wanted to experience the joy for yourself. To this day it is still one of my all-time favorite Inuyasha fics.
I've written my own stories here and there in the midst of my uphill battles against my lack of self-confidence and the belief that I am only capable of writing garbage. I love far too many fandoms to count, from the wide ranging Marvel to the almost non-existant Saint Tail, (You'll always be my favorite Meimei!!!) I dabble in original works from time to time, and those usually end up posted here in my journal. My fanfics end up on my account at AO3. Head on over there if you are curious.
I tend to go about it backwards when it comes to discovering a new fandom. I follow my favorite authors and end up reading whatever they post for, which then leads me to look into the movies/books/games they wrote about. When not reading or trying to write fanfic I am usually diving head first into my newest video game acquisition or feeling the urge to re-play one of my favorites. Right now I'm playing Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations.
I do bullet journaling as well. Maybe I'll get around to posting some of my spreads just because I end up so proud of some of them I just want to run around showing random people on the street. I haven't yet but its a close thing.
I recently rescued two cats, a brother and sister (or so the adoption agency said) and they are the lights of my life right now. My first cat, named Hiei (why yes he was demon-spawn but he was my demon-spawn and thats all that matters), passed away in the first half of the year and I didn't realize how lonely I'd gotten until I brought these two furry piranhas home.

The black one is Artemis and the tortie is Luna.
And that's all for now. Fingers crossed I can stick to this year's resolution. :)

Date: 2020-01-05 10:52 am (UTC)It's actually the second time today I've written this exact comment. Unusual face-marking, though. I've noticed that torties often have a sort of vertical division of red and black patches on their faces, but I don't think I've seen a horizontal one before.
